Engin Altan Düzyatan: "I'm at the beginning of my new period" Interview

-You are handsome, successful, famous ...  Do you proud of yourself?

-I think it is not necessary to have the qualities listed by you to lose your way or be proud of yourself.  I don't think a person who comes from a solid family  will pay so much attention on fame.

-You rarely give interviews. Why ?

- I think it is enough to give intervews when it is necessary for work.

-You are now 42 years old.  What has changed in your life after 30?

- I've always worked in a good job, with good actors, with good directors, with good producers, with good teams. After 30 I became more conscious, the roles that came with my age changed.

-What unnerving you most of all?

- People who disrespect themselves, nature and animals. And people who judge everything without looking into the essence of the issue. I prefer to stay away from such people.

- Is it difficult to be one of the most handsome men in Turkey?

-First of all, thank you so much for this compliment. To be honest, I didn't feel any particular problems.

-Why did you choose the Barbaroslar project?

-I like to watch historical works or real-life stories. One of the main reasons I chose Barbaroslar is that it is a very large project. This is an old work that has been carefully prepared for a long time and has a very large production. It also reflects the history section, which I really enjoy reading.- What stage do you think you are at in your career right now?

-I can say that I am at the beginning of a new period? Period  of maturity.
